Bitcoin stays near $77,000, shaken by weak bonds and Asian stocks
Bitcoin’s on-chain demand indicator has turned negative again after rebounding in August. Cointelegraph reported that bitcoin briefly fell to around $76,400 on Sept. 1 before recovering part of the $77,000 level. The drop followed $236 million of outflows from spot bitcoin ETFs. Asian stock markets fell, while the dollar-yen pair showed unusual moves that markets read as a potential central bank intervention signal.

South Korean companies and institutions are also stepping up projects, funding and partnerships, even as concerns persist about data shortages and reliability.

SoftBank seeks to acquire majority stake in OpenAI-backed robot maker 1X Technologies
SoftBank is discussing a plan to acquire a majority stake in humanoid robot developer 1X Technologies, which has received investment from OpenAI, The Information reported on Aug. 26. The talks are proceeding on the basis of a $6 billion valuation, it said. Negotiations are ongoing and terms may change. 1X previously sought $1 billion at a $10 billion valuation but raised less than half.
