Underdog to roll out cryptocurrency deposit feature by year-end

U.S. sports prediction market Underdog plans to introduce a feature by year-end that lets users deposit stablecoins and cryptocurrencies directly into prediction market accounts. The company is working with infrastructure platform Zerohash to enable qualified customers to add funds through the Underdog app outside bank hours, including evenings and weekends. Underdog and Zerohash executives highlighted speed and expanded choices. Some services may be unavailable in New York, and crypto holdings are not covered by FDIC or SIPC protection.

Starknet community backs review of shift to \'quantum-resistant layer 1\'

The Starknet community overwhelmingly backed a proposal to review a plan to shift the Ethereum layer 2 network into an independent layer 1, The Block reported on Wednesday. In a seven-day Snapshot vote that closed on Wednesday morning, more than 93.5 percent of voting power supported the proposal, with about 2,800 wallets taking part. StarkWare did not vote and left the decision to the community. Further research and another vote by STRK holders would be required for an actual transition.

PancakeSwap proposes raising LP fee share to 88 percent, cutting token minting 69 percent

Decentralised exchange PancakeSwap proposed raising its liquidity provider fee share to 88 percent and cutting daily CAKE token issuance by about 69 percent. The proposal would lift V3 and Infinity LP fee shares to 88 percent across 11 supported chains, lower the protocol fee share to 12 percent and send that to the treasury, while keeping V2 unchanged. PancakeSwap expects LPs to receive about $62 million more in fees based on estimated 2025 volume.
