Hancom to accelerate AI strategy in second half, agentic OS beta due in third quarter
Hancom plans to accelerate AI-driven business in the second half through three pillars: converting existing customers to AI services, commercialising its agentic OS and expanding into global physical AI markets. It said first-half AI product revenue reached 13.47 billion won, surpassing last year’s 8.9 billion won. Hancom plans to unveil an agentic OS beta in the third quarter and pursue PoCs with public and financial clients. It also secured 31.9 billion won by selling a stake in Hancom InSpace.

Hancom Lifecare to install Hancom agentic OS on Shark Robotics firefighting robots
Hancom said on Tuesday its unit Hancom Lifecare signed a five-year agreement with France\'s Shark Robotics for exclusive domestic sales and technical development cooperation on two firefighting robots. The deal covers the Colossus firefighting and rescue robot and the Rhyno Protect fire door blocking robot. Shark Robotics cannot sell the two products in South Korea through other distributors during the period, Hancom said.

Hancom Lifecare posts Q2 revenue of 55.1 billion won, operating profit of 7.6 billion won
Hancom Lifecare said on Thursday it posted preliminary consolidated second-quarter revenue of about 55.1 billion won and operating profit of about 7.6 billion won. Net profit was about 6.8 billion won. Revenue rose 103 percent from a year earlier and operating profit climbed 168 percent. Operating margin was 13.8 percent. The company said growth in both defence and fire-safety businesses supported results.
