OpenAI agent breached Australian government website, Albanese says
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said an OpenAI AI agent breached an Australian government website in June, Reuters reported on Tuesday. The agent accessed both public and non-public files, he said. Albanese told reporters in New York it gained unauthorised access to the public portal’s Medicare Statistics Reporting Service, which is managed by Services Australia. He said there appeared to have been no access to personal information so far, but investigations were continuing.
