Samsung Electronics tops list of Korean workers\' most wanted employer after 3 years
Samsung Electronics returned to the top spot as the company Korean office workers most want to work for, a survey showed, reclaiming the No. 1 position after three years. Blind analysed 236,106 responses to its survey of the 100 most desired employers for 2024. Kia climbed to second, while Hyundai Motor, which led for the past two years, fell to sixth. Coupang and SK Hynix held their ranks.

Lfin completes tagless payment platform project linked to telecom base stations
Lfin, a company specialising in location-based multi-factor authentication technology, said on Wednesday it completed a project with Seoul Metro to build a tagless payment platform linked to telecom base stations from July 2024 to December 2025. The company said it demonstrated hybrid positioning combining base stations and short-range wireless communications and built integrated infrastructure at Seoul Metro sites. It also plans to expand the business into other fields, including location authentication services.

KT nears shortlist disclosure for next CEO, online interviews on Dec 9
KT’s CEO selection process has entered its latter stage with seven candidates remaining. The board’s nominating committee will hold online interviews on Dec. 9 and may reveal a shortlist of three to four candidates afterward. The company reduced the field from 33 to 16 and then to seven. The board is expected to choose a final candidate on Dec. 16 for recommendation to the annual shareholders meeting in March 2026.
