Mythos emerges as AI-driven mobile app attacks surge
Security firms are publishing early experiences of Anthropic’s AI model Mythos, which was first shared on a limited basis with some companies, with Cloudflare standing out. Cloudflare said Mythos is a tool on a different level from earlier general-purpose frontier models, citing attack-chain building and proof generation. Separately, Anthropic is allowing Mythos users to share cyber threat information with other companies exposed to similar vulnerabilities.

Naver, Kakao draw attention with different AI strategies
Naver and Kakao are sharpening their artificial intelligence strategies this year, drawing attention for their different approaches. Naver is pursuing an “expansive internalisation” strategy by embedding AI across businesses such as search, commerce, fintech, cloud and robots. Kakao is concentrating AI within its single platform, KakaoTalk, after two years of restructuring that reduced affiliates. Both are tying AI initiatives to revenue models such as advertising, commerce and subscriptions.

Kakao overhauls KakaoTools, links partners including Olive Young and Musinsa
Kakao said on March 24 it has overhauled its KakaoTools service within “ChatGPT for Kakao” and will work with external partners to expand its artificial intelligence agent ecosystem. The company added partner services including Olive Young, Musinsa, Hyundai Department Store, SamjjeomSam, MyRealTrip, Saramin and Woori\'s Table. It also introduced a dedicated home menu and a MY menu to help users discover and manage services.
