NHN Cloud on Wednesday disclosed key results related to its messaging solution, NHN Cloud Notification, the company said.

NHN Notification is a cloud-based messaging solution that provides message sending and management services needed for customer communications, including KakaoTalk Biz Messages, SMS, international SMS, push notifications, email and RCS (Rich Communication Services).

The company said a range of firms have adopted it, including SamjjeomSam (Jarvis & Villains), Queenit (RapoLabs) and MyRealTrip.

NHN Cloud said it helped customers send 15 billion messages through various channels via NHN Notification in 2025. That was up 8 percent from the previous year.

For KakaoTalk Biz Messages, sending volume rose by more than 50 percent from a year earlier, it said. The company analysed this as being because it was able to provide a sending service by developing in advance to match changed specifications when one KakaoTalk Biz Messages channel, Friend Talk, was rebranded as Brand Message and a large-scale upgrade was under way.

Notification Hub, launched in 2024, also saw the number of customers more than double from the previous year. Notification Hub supports operating and managing all messaging services provided by NHN Notification in one place.

NHN Cloud said it plans to launch an integrated RCS service in 2026 to support companies that develop customer communications centred on RCS. RCS is a next-generation messaging standard set by the GSMA to provide expanded communication functions beyond existing mobile text messaging services. With Apple iOS also supporting RCS from version 26 after Google Android, it is developing a service that can send RCS enterprise messages to most existing devices.

NHN Cloud CEO Kim Dong-hoon said how customer communication is developed through various messaging channels has become a pivotal factor determining business success or failure. He said that following 2025, when the company generated results through new product launches and advancements, it will also develop and enhance services in 2026 that customers can be satisfied with and trust, contributing to successful business development.
