SK Group declares \'AI golden time\' to map major shift roadmap at Icheon forum
SK Group is changing how it discusses management issues to speed up its response to its AI transition. The group will hold the 2026 New Icheon Forum from June 11 to 13 at the SKMS Research Institute in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, under the theme of disruptive innovation from AI and a major shift to AX-led management. About 50 executives, including Chairman Chey Tae-won, will attend.

Kim Sung-soo, SK Broadband chief, says customer trust will break through market stagnation
SK Broadband CEO Kim Sung-soo said the company will push into the market this year by strengthening customer trust and driving technological innovation. He cited achievements last year including regaining the top spot in net share gains, leading growth in dedicated line revenue and starting construction of the Ulsan data centre. Kim called for customer-focused redesign of products and processes and wider AI adoption, while stressing leadership, voluntary challenges, collaboration and risk prevention.

SK Hynix CEO Kwak No-jung says company to speed up AI technology adoption
SK Hynix CEO Kwak No-jung said on Thursday the chipmaker needs to secure technological superiority and speed in the AI memory market. He said record results in 2025 came as AI demand became a constant and competition intensified, requiring new challenges. Kwak pledged to prioritise customer satisfaction as a partner and contribute to society’s sustainable development. He also said the company will expand investment, develop next-generation products early and accelerate AI technology adoption.
