MSIT selects 18 leader researchers for nine-year support
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT selected 18 researchers for its 2026 basic research Leader Research programme and will begin providing support from June 1. The programme aims to foster creative basic research capacity and deepen research in science and engineering fields. Leader Research, launched in 1997, provides nine years of long-term support under Type A and newly introduced Type B funding tracks.
