Magic Eden to close bitcoin and EVM marketplaces in March, end multichain wallet in April
NFT marketplace Magic Eden will close its bitcoin and EVM marketplaces and end multichain wallet support. Blockspace reported the bitcoin and EVM marketplaces will end service in the first week of March. The multichain wallet will move to export-only mode from mid-March and will be fully discontinued in early April. Support for Solana NFTs and assets will continue. Magic Eden was once a major trading platform for Bitcoin Ordinals.

UniSat continues investment in Bitcoin mainnet ecosystem, buys FB tokens
UniSat said on Feb. 27 it is aware of recent changes in the Bitcoin ecosystem and will continue investing in infrastructure for Ordinals, Runes and BRC-20. As part of that effort, it will waive all platform fees on the UniSat Marketplace for 90 days from March 1, covering all Bitcoin mainnet assets. UniSat also plans to gradually buy FB, the native token of the Fractal Bitcoin sidechain project due in the second quarter, for index mining participation.
