Neowiz said on Tuesday it has started pre-registrations for its new mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Kingdom2: Burning Battlefield', which is being developed by its subsidiary Powgames.

The new title is a traditional MMORPG that highlights field hunting and unlimited competition as key features. Powgames said it plans to target the game market in the second half, building a differentiated growth system and a fully autonomous economic market based on long-term service know-how proven through its existing titles.

The game's biggest feature is that it breaks away from the fixed class system of existing MMORPGs. Users can choose one of three races, including Human, Elf and Belkan, and freely fuse five types of weapons, including a one-handed sword, greatsword, bow, staff and spear, to create as many as 15 play styles. Separate race-specific skills also exist, allowing entirely different tactics depending on the combination even when wielding the same weapon.

The growth and cooperation systems are also closely linked. Characters are developed through field hunting as well as party dungeons, the Tower of Infinity and world bosses. The game supports various growth elements, including runes, magic infusion, artifacts, monster souls and a compendium, in a structure where players use strengthened characters to challenge high-difficulty content and obtain high rewards.

It also supports community-based cooperative content such as guild housing, guild research, guild festivals, guild buffs and guild raids. It includes an item distribution system and registration on the marketplace through a guild warehouse, and it is designed so that most items and materials obtained through hunting can be traded one-on-one between users.

Powgames is ramping up marketing promotions for pre-registration participants. All participants will receive a summon ticket that guarantees a rare-grade armour appearance, along with various enhancement materials and gold. It will also give away prizes including a Samsung Galaxy S26+ and Google Play gift cards through a draw, and run a commemorative event through its official Naver cafe. Ahead of the official launch, it plans to release a developer talk video and introduce a related promotion.

A Powgames official said, "We put into this new title the experience we have built up while providing long-term service for various MMORPGs such as 'Kingdom: Flames of War' and 'PristontaleM'." The official added, "We will do our best to present a stable service while actively communicating with users."
