Ripple partnerships grow but XRP stalls, community grievances return
As Ripple expands business partnerships, some XRP holders are complaining the token is not benefiting. XRP influencer John Squire urged Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse to ensure partnerships deliver tangible gains for holders. The criticism followed Ripple’s announced collaboration with brokerage platform DriveWealth on digital asset infrastructure for payments, settlement and custody. XRP trades around $1.34, down about 2.9 percent in seven days, after falling more than 20 percent from $1.70 in August.

Ripple Payments safeguards spotlight XRP reconversion and fund recovery
A procedure to recover funds by reconverting XRP into fiat when a remittance fails in Ripple’s cross-border payments service, Ripple Payments, has drawn renewed attention. Ripple documents set out how the system retries payments and, if unresolved, converts XRP back to fiat and moves it to a segregated sender account (SSA). The SSA can be used for later payments. A report cited rising ODL volumes and use by more than 300 financial institutions.
