Warning over Anthropic\'s $2 trillion valuation ahead of Nasdaq IPO
A warning has emerged that Anthropic\'s $2 trillion valuation ahead of a Nasdaq listing is excessive. Independent research firm New Constructs valued the company at $150 billion and called the offering the most absurd IPO of 2026. It said Anthropic would need profits double Nvidia\'s latest annual net income to justify the valuation. A leaked draft prospectus showed 2025 revenue of $4.6 billion and a net loss of $42 billion.

Spotify expands audiobooks to 180 markets, including South Korea
Spotify is expanding its audiobooks service to more than 180 markets worldwide, up from 22, with South Korea included. The rollout begins on Tuesday and will be completed by the end of 2026, covering Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. New markets will get more than 350,000 titles and support for more than 120 languages. The Audiobooks+ add-on has surpassed 1 million subscribers and $100 million in annual recurring revenue.

Samsung Electronics\' third-quarter operating profit tops 100 trillion won
Samsung Electronics posted a record third-quarter operating profit of 107.4 trillion won, its first quarter above 100 trillion won. Revenue rose to 195 trillion won, and cumulative sales for the first three quarters exceeded last year\'s full-year sales. The company’s recovery has been driven by AI-led memory demand, with hyperscalers and AI chipmakers as key customers. The shift has strengthened suppliers’ pricing power and pushed operating margins higher.
