Sam Altman rules out four-day workweek, says working hours will not fall

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (샘 알트먼) said he does not expect overall working hours to fall even as artificial intelligence spreads. In a podcast interview, he rejected hopes that AI will usher in a four-day workweek or shorter hours, arguing that technology has long promised more leisure but has not delivered. He cited human competitiveness, saying higher productivity often leads people to demand more output. He also said people will likely stay very busy even after superintelligence.
