SK Shieldus said on Wednesday its incident response team Top-CERT issued a technical report based on analysis of real breach investigation cases. The report includes cases involving forensic recovery of ransomware-encrypted data, restoration of deleted logs to quantify personal data leaks, identification of re-entry paths in repeated ransomware infections, and backtracking attack flows in partner-linked incidents. Top-CERT said professional post-incident investigations help curb damage and reduce recovery costs.

Genians said on Tuesday it won final certification in a 2026 EDR detection verification test conducted by AV-Comparatives, a global security product performance evaluation organisation. The company said certification requires proving uninterrupted detection visibility across at least two-thirds of the attack chain and demonstrating contextualisation that links isolated events across different infrastructure. It also said alert noise must be controlled in no more than three of five false-positive scenarios.
