Gravity shifts to co-CEO structure with Park Hyun-cheol and Yoshinori Kitamura
Gravity said on July 13 it has shifted to a co-CEO structure with Park Hyun-cheol and Yoshinori Kitamura to strengthen headquarters competitiveness and pursue sustained growth in global markets. Park will oversee development, operations and talent at the South Korean headquarters, while Kitamura will lead global business, IP strategy, new businesses and cooperation with overseas affiliates. The company said it aims to speed up decision-making and advance its Ragnarok IP and new titles.

Gravity is seeking to boost competitiveness by strengthening capabilities across business segments. The company said it will use the Ragnarok intellectual property as a core pillar while securing new IP, strengthening publishing and expanding entertainment to build next-generation growth engines. It plans to diversify its portfolio with in-house titles and broaden its PC and console lineup. Gravity is also pursuing musicals, concerts, animation and a virtual YouTuber business.

Gravity unveils \'Ragnarok Hub\' blueprint with new releases, esports push
Gravity has declared 2026 as the first year of building a “Ragnarok Hub” and unveiled a mid- to long-term business vision to raise the value of the Ragnarok intellectual property and complete it as a culture. Starting this year, it plans major title launches, genre diversification and expanded esports tournaments to boost IP loyalty and brand value. Its lineup includes Ragnarok 3 and other upcoming titles, alongside more offline events.
