Gravity is moving to strengthen competitiveness by boosting capabilities across its business segments.

On Jan. 28, Gravity said it will use the Ragnarok intellectual property as a core pillar and grow next-generation growth engines by securing new IP, strengthening publishing capabilities and expanding its entertainment business.

The company is accelerating expansion into new businesses while also building the mid- to long-term vision it previously announced, the "Ragnarok Hub." It will first diversify its portfolio through internally developed titles. "Scope Hero," a digging puzzle RPG developed by an internal studio, ranked high on the App Store popularity charts after launching in Japan in September last year. The new dark fantasy MMORPG "RequiemM" completed a closed beta test in South Korea in December last year.

It is also expanding its PC and console game publishing lineup. In December last year, Gravity introduced the board game "The Game of Life for Nintendo Switch" in Asia. On Jan. 22, it launched the 3D platformer "The Little Things in the Abyss" globally. It plans to release more titles across genres within this year, including "Wiseman's World Retry," "Light Odyssey" and "Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild Office."

Gravity is also broadening its entertainment business. Working with Library Company, it will produce a musical using the Ragnarok IP and explore entry into the U.S. and British markets. It is also pursuing an orchestra concert and planning and producing performance merchandise.

It is also developing its animation and virtual YouTuber business. It is offering the spinoff animation "Ragnarok Monsters" on VOD and OTT platforms. Its official virtual YouTuber, "Pring Cotton," is expanding its fandom through live broadcasts and participation in game events.

A Gravity official said, "In 2026, in addition to building the Ragnarok Hub, we will focus on securing new IP, expanding platforms and the entertainment business to further strengthen our business capabilities." The official added, "We plan to introduce many games with distinctive fun discovered by our headquarters and subsidiaries, so please look forward to them."
