Nvidia ends 20-year Control Panel service, overhauls GeForce management
Nvidia has effectively ended support for its legacy Nvidia Control Panel used on Windows 11-based PCs. The company said it has completed moving all actively supported Control Panel functions for GeForce users into the Nvidia App and has officially retired the old Control Panel from Game Ready and Studio drivers. The legacy app will not be removed immediately, but will no longer receive new features or fixes. Support for RTX Pro users will continue until professional features are migrated.

Nvidia stops separate disclosure of graphics card revenue as focus shifts from gaming GPUs to AI
Nvidia will no longer separately disclose revenue from consumer and professional graphics cards starting this quarter, folding GeForce and RTX Pro into an “edge computing” category, TechRadar reported. The change reshapes Nvidia’s reporting into two pillars: data center and edge computing. Nvidia posted $81 billion in revenue for fiscal 2027 first quarter, but graphics detail will disappear from earnings tables. TechRadar and market watchers linked the move to Nvidia’s growing focus on AI chips.
