French transport minister says Tesla FSD is not autonomous driving, approval put on hold
France has put on hold approval of Tesla’s driver-supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) assistance feature, saying the system in its current state allows speeding and does not adequately ensure driver attention in urban settings. Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot said the safety balance was not yet sufficient and described FSD as not an autonomous driving system. France is seeking an EU-aligned approval framework and is continuing technical talks with the Netherlands and Tesla.

Tesla HW3 owners\' legal action in Netherlands nears 7,000 over FSD promises
Dutch Tesla owners of Hardware 3 (HW3) vehicles are rapidly expanding collective legal action, with participation nearing 7,000, as they argue Full Self-Driving (FSD) performance promised by Tesla cannot be implemented on HW3 cars. Organisers are preparing to set up a foundation under Dutch rules to pursue a formal class action. Claimants cite an RDW approval limiting FSD Supervised in Europe to HW4 vehicles and seek damages and possible refunds.

Tesla FSD gets green light for European push after Netherlands approval
Tesla\'s Full Self-Driving (FSD) software has secured approval from Dutch authorities after 18 months of verification, laying groundwork for an expansion into Europe. The Dutch vehicle authority RDW plans to propose applying the approval across the European Union. But scepticism from other regulators over safety standards and the appropriateness of the name has clouded prospects for final approval. EU-wide approval requires support from 15 of 27 members, with a vote possible as early as July or October.
