Samsung to expand Apple AirDrop-compatible sharing to more Galaxy flagships including S24, S25

Samsung Electronics may expand an option in its Quick Share file-sharing feature that supports sharing with Apple devices to more flagship models, a report said. PhoneArena cited an insider on One UI as saying the feature could arrive after the next One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S24 and S25 series and the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. Some users have reported the option does not work or does not appear, amid suggestions of a phased regional rollout.

Samsung Galaxy S26 supports Apple AirDrop compatibility for Android-iPhone file sharing

Samsung Electronics\' Galaxy S26 series users can share photos, videos and files with iPhone users through Apple\'s AirDrop. Samsung said on its official blog it will roll out the feature sequentially from March 23 for the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra. Files can be sent to iPhone, iPad and Mac using the built-in Quick Share feature by enabling a settings toggle to share with Apple devices.
