Qualcomm supplies Snapdragon X2 for Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge
Qualcomm is supplying its latest processor to a Samsung Electronics laptop as it targets the AI PC market. Qualcomm Technologies said on Sunday that Samsung’s new Galaxy Book6 Edge includes the next-generation Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The chip is designed around a third-generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU and a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, supporting 80 TOPS of AI performance. The laptop offers on-device AI features and has a 1.55 kg, 12.3 mm design with up to 22 hours of video playback.

Qualcomm to support AR, robotics and AI infrastructure development for South Korean startups
Qualcomm has joined a Ministry of SMEs and Startups-run program as a demand partner to collaborate with South Korean startups, it said on Wednesday. Qualcomm Technologies will participate in the vertical track of the \"Challenge AX for Everyone\" program. It will match partner firms with startups to pursue projects covering AR glasses, robots and on-premise appliances, including AMR solutions, on-device recognition models and AI on-premise infrastructure development.

KT succeeds in demonstration of AI-based next-generation wireless transmit-receive technology
KT said on Tuesday it succeeded in demonstrating an AI-based next-generation wireless transmit-receive technology with Qualcomm Technologies and Germany\'s Rohde & Schwarz. The technology is an AI-based channel state information compression method being pursued under 3GPP Release 20. KT said it built a test environment linking Qualcomm\'s next-generation Snapdragon mobile platform with a Rohde & Schwarz AI base-station system. KT said the demonstration improved downlink performance by about 50 percent.
