Samsung Electronics launches domestic EHS heat pump boiler in South Korea
Samsung Electronics launched its air-source, heat pump-based home heating solution, the EHS Heat Pump Boiler, in South Korea on April 20. The product uses ambient air heat and electricity to provide space heating and hot water, and can generate more than four times the heat of the input electrical energy, the company said. It can supply hot water up to 70 degrees Celsius at minus 15 degrees and includes anti-freeze features.

Otek Carrier targets high-growth heat pump and data center markets
Energy solutions company Otek Carrier said it will speed up deployment of its in-house EHS (Eco Heatpump Solution) heat pump this year across agriculture, buildings and public facilities. The company said the system integrates heating, cooling and hot water and can be applied to smart farms. It also plans to expand direct liquid cooling for data centers, building an integrated cooling solution portfolio suited to different data center environments and stages.

GI Tech starts supplying battery pump systems to LG Energy Solution
GI Tech said on Tuesday it has begun supplying pump systems, a key piece of equipment used in secondary battery production processes, to LG Energy Solution. The company said it upgraded the pump system based on its slot-die technology and secured LG Energy Solution as a customer after Samsung SDI. It said the system is used in insulation coating to prevent battery fires and is designed to supply high-viscosity insulating liquid without pulsation. GI Tech said it is in talks with global customers and plans to enter North America this year and expand to Europe in 2027.
