Tiny open-source dashboard shows Claude Code token use in real time as ClaudeMeter debuts
A tiny open-source dashboard device has emerged to show real-time usage of Anthropic\'s AI coding tool Claude Code. Iceland-based developer Hermann Haraldsson (헤르만 하랄드손) unveiled the small display called ClaudeMeter, which connects to a laptop via Bluetooth and visualises token use with pixel-art animations and charts. It reads a Claude Code OAuth token, calls an API and displays usage figures from response headers. The project has drawn online reactions and has quickly gained GitHub stars and forks.
