Devsisters said on Tuesday it is recruiting creators to take part in “Cookie Run: Ovensmash Creator Survival,” a team PvP tournament, ahead of the launch of its new title “Cookie Run: Ovensmash,” which is being developed by its subsidiary Press A.
Creator Survival is a tournament for game creators featuring “Cookie Run: Ovensmash,” which is set to launch on March 26. It will offer total prize money of 100 million won. A total of 24 creators will compete in eight teams of three.
Eight game creators — Ted, Mingmo, Hollit, Boney, Shiro, Purin, Binu and Waffle — will take part as team leaders. YouTuber Boney previously won the “Creator Cup” held during last year’s global closed beta test (CBT) period.
Applications will be accepted from March 27 to April 3. Those who upload a video on their personal social media channels stating their ambition to participate will be reviewed, and 16 team members will be selected. The tournament matches will begin in early April.
Cookie Run: Ovensmash is a casual battle action game that adopts an urban fantasy setting and introduces real-time PvP battles. It features cookie characters fighting across various modes.
