Tesla has launched Tesla Home, a household energy management platform that uses an AI engine called Opticaster to make hundreds of daily decisions on power storage and use to help reduce electricity bills. Fake IDs used to steal Tesla batteries in 11 thefts at Gigafactory Nevada
Trailers carrying batteries at Tesla’s Gigafactory Nevada have been stolen at least 11 times since last December. The thefts occurred in a staging area before customer delivery, with nine cases concentrated in January, Electrek reported. Investigators believe the crimes resembled organised cargo theft, with suspects using forged identification and exploiting gaps between brokers and carriers. Three men in their 20s were arrested on Jan. 30 and face felony charges.
