Wemade Play Q2 operating profit rises 6 percent to 2.6 billion won
Wemade Play said on Tuesday its second-quarter revenue rose 9 percent from a year earlier to 32.2 billion won, while operating profit increased 6 percent to 2.6 billion won. Net profit came to 3.6 billion won. It said operating profit rose on the back of results from key businesses including games, advertising and publishing, while net profit fell due to a base effect. First-half revenue totalled 64.6 billion won.

Wemade Play said its first-quarter revenue slipped 0.1 percent from a year earlier to 32.4 billion won, while operating profit surged 93 percent to 3.4 billion won. Net profit came to 6.1 billion won. The company attributed the rise in profit to steady service for its key games and a 5.4 percent drop in operating costs. Overseas revenue reached 20.8 billion won, reflecting results from its subsidiary Playlinks.

Wemade Play posts 10.7 billion won operating profit in 2025, returning to 100 billion won level after five years
Wemade Play said it recorded 2025 consolidated revenue of 125.3 billion won, operating profit of 10.7 billion won and net profit of 21.4 billion won, surpassing 10.0 billion won in annual operating profit for the first time in five years. Fourth-quarter revenue rose 1 percent to 32.2 billion won and operating profit climbed 65 percent to 3.1 billion won, while it logged a quarterly net loss of 500 million won.
