Pearl Abyss\' Crimson Desert sells 2 million copies in a day, plans patch after control complaints
Pearl Abyss\' open-world action-adventure game \"Crimson Desert\" sold more than 2 million copies within a day of its global launch on March 20, the company said, a first for a Korean game. It also logged about 240,000 peak concurrent users on Steam within about 2 hours of release. Users raised complaints about controls, button layout and convenience, especially among keyboard and mouse players, prompting Pearl Abyss to say it is preparing a patch.

SKT CEO Jung Jaeheon steps up field management push, urges \'dream team\'
SK Telecom said CEO Jung Jaeheon (정재헌) carried out a two-day management-by-walking-around program on Jan. 29 to 30, visiting four regional headquarters including Gwangju, Daejeon, Daegu and Busan. He met employees, listened to on-site feedback and expressed appreciation for their work. During the Daejeon trip, he visited PS&M’s Dunsan flagship store and observed customer service. The program also included talks with staff and safety and environmental checks at key facilities.

Netmarble delays The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin to March to improve quality
Netmarble said on Thursday it has pushed back the launch of its multiplayer open-world action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin from January to March. The company said it will address improvements identified through a closed beta test, including revamping the combat system and enhancing exploration convenience. Planned work covers controls, the combat system and UI and UX. The game is set for a simultaneous global release on console, PC and mobile.
