SK Telecom said on Saturday that CEO Jung Jaeheon (정재헌) conducted on-site management, known as MBWA, on Jan. 29 to 30, communicating with staff at regional headquarters and reinforcing unity as a "dream team."
Jung visited four regional headquarters in Gwangju, Daejeon, Daegu and Busan over the two days, listening directly to on-site views and thanking employees for their work. "The dedication of on-site employees who quietly carry out their roles at the front line is the strength that lets SKT take off again," Jung said. "In 2026, let us all become one 'dream team' and create greater achievement and happiness together," he added.
During his schedule in Daejeon, Jung also visited PS&M’s Dunsan flagship store, a distribution outlet, greeting employees and looking at the customer service floor.
"Please do not forget that on-site employees are the most important link connecting customers and SKT," Jung said. "I hope you approach your work with the mindset that small efforts in the field become the company’s overall competitiveness," he added.
The MBWA also included time for talks with employees at each regional headquarters. The CEO and staff freely exchanged views on current issues and improvement tasks. Safety and environmental inspections of key facilities, including telecom equipment, data centres and transmission equipment rooms, were also carried out in parallel.
Jung stressed that minimising risk factors and staying faithful to fundamentals and principles are the foundation for restoring customer trust and becoming a company recognised in the market.
An SKT official said the regional headquarters MBWA strengthened communication with employees on the front line and showed Jung’s strong will to restore customer trust and sustain growth as a unified dream team.
