Charles Hoskinson says Cardano to match XRPL-level performance through Leios
Cardano could secure XRP Ledger-level performance by increasing throughput by up to 60 times through the Ouroboros Leios upgrade it aims to apply this year, a report said. Charles Hoskinson (찰스 호스킨슨) said in a podcast interview that Leios would sharply lower Cardano’s scalability limits and could boost transactions per second. He also said the throughput gains were achieved without sacrificing decentralisation or security.

He said different chains will serve different uses, from DeFi to enterprise services and regulated applications. Farley also warned that a multi-chain structure could fragment liquidity as funds and users spread across blockchains.
