NH NongHyup Capital builds Oracle Cloud-based disaster recovery system
NH NongHyup Capital said on Aug. 3 it has built a disaster recovery environment based on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The company shifted from its existing on-premises data backup method to an OCI-based in-house disaster recovery framework to comply with recently revised electronic financial supervision rules and strengthen operational resilience. It said the move lays the groundwork to keep services running without interruption even during major outages or system errors.

Three South Korean AI startups target global AI market using Oracle Cloud
Korea Oracle said VMIC, PromptTown and KAB Labs joined Oracle’s startup cooperation program Miracle and enhanced industry-specific work processes using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. It said Miracle is jointly run by Oracle, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, KISED and Seoul National University of Science and Technology. The companies reported lower infrastructure costs, faster processing speeds and plans to support customers across global hubs.

Bonanza Lab, a digital asset data specialist, is moving its digital asset data solution to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Korea Oracle said Bonanza Lab expects the migration to cut cloud costs by about 50 percent compared with its previous setup. Its solution collects and analyses data from multiple digital asset exchanges and on-chain sources.
