Oracle, Google Cloud launch AI agent for natural-language queries of Oracle DB
Oracle has strengthened cooperation with Google Cloud and introduced an Oracle AI Database Agent that lets users query databases in natural language without SQL, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday. The agent is based on integration between Gemini Enterprise and Oracle AI Database and is offered via Google Cloud Marketplace for customers running Oracle Autonomous AI Database on Google Cloud. Oracle said it processes queries inside the database and supports agent-to-agent communication and integration with Vertex AI apps.

Oracle has unveiled Oracle AI Database 26ai, which it says places AI at the heart of data management and integrates vector search and an agentic AI framework.
