Oracle said on Tuesday it updated agentic AI technology in Oracle AI Database.
The company said Oracle AI Database is designed to integrate agentic AI and data across operational databases and analytics lakehouses.
It said AI agents can securely access enterprise data in real time wherever it is stored and combine it with large language models (LLMs) trained on public data to provide insights.
Enterprise customers can choose AI models and agentic frameworks, open data formats and deployment platforms. Customers using Oracle Exadata support large-scale agentic AI through Exadata Powered AI Search, accelerating AI query performance for large-capacity, multi-step agentic workloads.
Juan Loaiza (후안 로이자), Oracle's executive vice president for database technologies, said, "Next-generation enterprise AI will be defined by customers' ability to use AI securely in their mission-critical operational systems to deliver innovation, insights and productivity." He added, "With Oracle AI Database, enterprises can not only store data but also activate it for AI. By designing AI and data together, it enables enterprises to build and manage autonomous AI applications that can securely query and execute real-time enterprise data based on stock exchange-level operational robustness across major cloud and on-premises environments."
