Nio CEO says 9 of 10 cars sold in China will be plug-ins by 2030
Plug-in vehicles will account for more than 90 percent of car sales in China by 2030, with battery electric vehicles making up about 90 percent of the new-energy vehicle market, Nio CEO William Li said at a company event. Plug-in vehicles already reached 63 percent of sales in China last month, the report said. Nio is sticking to an all-BEV strategy and is expanding charging and battery-swap infrastructure.
