PIPC completes second phase of cross-government MyData support platform, service to launch in March
South Korea’s Personal Information Protection Commission said on Monday it held a completion briefing for the second-phase build of the cross-government MyData support platform, called OnMyData, chaired by Commission Chair Song Kyung-hee (송경희). The upgrade focuses on supporting functions including downloading one’s information in various ways and a personal information repository for direct management. The platform will also be available via a mobile app. A pilot run will continue through February before a public launch in March.
