Kakao expands membership benefits for small merchants with food ingredients and cleaning partnerships
Kakao said on Aug. 13 it has added partnership benefits to its subscription service, KakaoBiz Membership, for small and medium-sized merchants. New partners include the food ingredients open-market platform Sikbom, the cleaning service Cheongyeon and the academy fee payment service Gyeoljeseonsaeng. The service costs 14,900 won a month and includes up to 500,000 won worth of monthly benefits such as advertising support funds and discount coupon packs.

Naver links CRM to SmartPlace to help small merchants attract repeat customers
Naver is linking external customer management solutions to its SmartPlace platform to support offline merchants in securing repeat customers and running marketing. Naver said it introduced a membership integration feature that lets Place owners use CRM services DodoPoint, Payhere and Okpos via SmartPlace. The integration allows benefits such as coupons, discounts and points to be offered more easily on Naver Place and Maps. Naver also plans to expand links with franchise membership systems and enhance connectivity with Npay Connect terminals this year.

Kakao expands Kakao Biz Membership benefits, adds Baemin Store and Albamon subsidies
Kakao said on Monday it has expanded benefits in its subscription service Kakao Biz Membership, adding subsidies for using Baemin Store and Albamon. The company said it will strengthen practical support by adding benefits that small merchants frequently use, based on user feedback. The service bundles business-related benefits from advertising and marketing to store operations and ingredient purchases for a monthly fee of 14,900 won.
