For now, cloud AI is the answer even for finance as AI advances fast
No Kyung-hoon (노경훈), head of financial business at Amazon Web Services Korea, said there are no technical or regulatory problems with using cloud in finance and that AI will accelerate cloud adoption. He said building AI infrastructure in internal data centres can become a burden as AI changes quickly and new technology may be hard to use on existing systems. He cited a survey of about 150 firms showing around 60 percent use or plan cloud because of AI.

Solum declares governance overhaul, shift to professional management
Solum and Align Partners Asset Management said on Sunday they reached a broad agreement to overhaul the board structure and raise shareholder value. They plan to seek bylaw changes at the 2026 shareholders meeting to make a majority of the board independent and staff key committees entirely with independent directors. The deal also addresses a dispute over redeemable convertible preferred shares and includes measures on audit expansion, incentives and management succession.

Nullify raises $12.5 million to expand AI-based security automation
AI security automation startup Nullify has raised $12.5 million in new funding, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 5. Founded in 2022, the company provides a platform that uses AI security engineers to monitor enterprise software environments in real time and automatically detect and remediate vulnerabilities. The system maps technology stacks by analyzing code, cloud configurations and business context, then prioritizes risks and deploys AI-generated patches via development tools.
