AI security automation startup Nullify has raised $12.5 million in new funding, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 5 local time.
Founded in 2022, Nullify provides a platform in which AI security engineers monitor enterprise software environments in real time and automatically detect and fix vulnerabilities.
The system maps a technology stack by analyzing code, cloud configurations and business context, and assesses the practical risk of vulnerabilities to set priorities. AI agents then verify vulnerabilities, automatically generate remediation patches and integrate with development tools to complete deployment. The company said it replaces existing security tools and can remove risks quickly without manual work.
Nullify Chief Executive Shan Kulkarni (샨 쿨카니) said, "It is difficult to block AI-based attacks with existing security tools." He said Nullify's AI will address a shortage of security staff and help defenders get ahead of attackers.
The funding round was led by SYN Ventures, with participation from existing investor Black Nova Venture Capital.
