JPMorgan says tokenised MMFs unlikely to top 10 to 15 percent of stablecoin market without regulatory change
Tokenised money market funds (MMFs) will continue to grow, but without regulatory change they will struggle to account for more than 10 to 15 percent of the stablecoin market, JPMorgan analysts said. They cited structural regulatory disadvantages because tokenised MMFs are typically classified as securities.

JPMorgan warns Ethereum, altcoins may keep lagging bitcoin for now
JPMorgan warned that Ethereum and major altcoins may continue to underperform bitcoin for the time being, citing slowing network activity and weaker liquidity. It said bitcoin is holding up on institutional flows and spot ETF demand, while Ethereum and altcoins lag in recovering from earlier market declines. The bank pointed to reduced DeFi activity, repeated hacks and falling Ethereum TVL share, and said upcoming upgrades will help only if they drive sustained usage demand.

JPMorgan says bitcoin has absorbed safe-haven demand, outpacing gold
JPMorgan analysis says bitcoin has emerged as a leading store-of-value asset, outperforming gold after instability in Iran. The bank said bitcoin has become central to the “debasement trade,” citing differences in flows into spot bitcoin and gold ETFs. It said institutional positioning has shifted toward bitcoin, based on futures open interest estimates. JPMorgan also highlighted Strategy’s aggressive purchases, estimating its current buying pace could reach about $30 billion annually.
