Plume wins Bermuda regulator licence to run institutional digital asset investment products

Plume Network’s unit Kimber Digital Asset Bermuda has obtained a Class M digital asset business licence from the Bermuda Monetary Authority, it said. The Class M licence is granted with conditions tailored to a specific model, scale and risk for a limited period and scope. The approval allows the unit to design investment policies, manage assets, and issue and distribute equity tokens under BMA supervision.

Samsung Asset Management\'s KODEX TDF ETF series tops 1 trillion won in net assets

Samsung Asset Management said combined net assets of its four KODEX TDF Active exchange-traded funds exceeded 1 trillion won based on the May 18 close. The total stood at 1.01 trillion won, led by the KODEX TDF 2050 Active at 612.4 billion won. The company said inflows were notable in the 2050 and 2060 vintage funds. It said the series can be held up to 100 percent in DC and IRP retirement accounts.

Boundary raises $2 million pre-seed, prepares institutional stablecoin USBD

Boundary Labs has raised $2 million in a pre-seed round and is accelerating preparations to launch its institutional stablecoin, USBD. The Block reported that Galaxy Ventures led the round, with participation from First Block Capital and Blackwood, among others. The company is designing USBD to enable continuous on-chain verification of reserves, net asset value and protocol performance. It also plans a dedicated app with KYC and business verification.
