[DigitalToday reporter Yoonseo Lee (이윤서)] XRP spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw net inflows of about $22.65 million on Sept. 25, local time.

Blockchain outlet U.Today reported on Sept. 26 that Bitwise and Franklin products led the inflows, but XRP’s spot price fell the same day.

The biggest inflows went into the Bitwise XRP ETF. Bitwise drew about $18.39 million in a day, lifting cumulative net inflows to about $677 million. The Franklin XRP ETF followed with about $4.26 million of inflows. Franklin’s cumulative net inflows stood at about $501 million.

Total net assets in the XRP spot ETF market were estimated at about $1.77 billion. Cumulative net inflows were about $1.79 billion. By the tally, XRP accounted for about 1.80 percent of the fund’s net asset value.

The inflows were not limited to a one-day rebound. XRP spot ETFs also logged net inflows of about $18.04 million on Sept. 23. Bitwise accounted for the largest share at about $11.54 million, and Franklin recorded about $6.5 million. That brought Bitwise’s cumulative inflows at the time to about $649 million and Franklin’s to about $492 million.

The consecutive net inflows show institutional exposure to ETFs is expanding even as market conditions around XRP have weakened. ETF fund flows only indicate money entering or leaving investment products, and do not directly match the underlying asset’s same-day price moves.

XRP traded at about $1.54 on Sept. 25, down about 4.6 percent from 24 hours earlier, and as of Sept. 28 it slipped to $1.50, edging lower. The divergence shows institutional demand via ETFs and short-term selling positions in the spot market can move in different directions. Persistent net inflows signal there is still demand to gain XRP exposure, but they did not immediately offset broader selling pressure.

Other major cryptocurrency ETFs also broadly extended inflows on the same day. Bitcoin spot ETFs posted net inflows of about $134 million, extending an inflow streak to 7 straight sessions. BlackRock’s IBIT made up the largest share at about $96.99 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC recorded about $49.32 million.

Ether spot ETFs also stayed positive. Net inflows were about $86.95 million, extending the inflow streak to 6 straight sessions. BlackRock’s ETHA and ETHB drew about $50.37 million and $31.88 million, respectively.

The latest moves are notable because inflows into spot ETFs continued regardless of XRP’s price weakness. They also reaffirmed that fund flows and the underlying asset’s price can move differently in the short term.
