Plume wins Bermuda regulator licence to run institutional digital asset investment products
Plume Network’s unit Kimber Digital Asset Bermuda has obtained a Class M digital asset business licence from the Bermuda Monetary Authority, it said. The Class M licence is granted with conditions tailored to a specific model, scale and risk for a limited period and scope. The approval allows the unit to design investment policies, manage assets, and issue and distribute equity tokens under BMA supervision.

MSIT launches NEST deep tech commercialisation council
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on May 21 it will hold a launch ceremony in Seoul for NEST, a council aimed at supporting deep tech commercialisation. The body is designed to promote deep tech startups and growth by building cooperation among organisations that use public research results from universities and state-funded institutes. It includes 13 organisations: three newly selected comprehensive specialised companies and 10 company builders.

Binance launches first traditional asset-linked perpetual futures, starting with gold and silver
Binance has launched perpetual futures contracts based on traditional assets that track gold and silver, The Block reported on Jan. 8. The contracts are settled in the U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin tether (USDT) and keep the same 24-hour crypto futures structure. The products include XAUUSDT for gold and XAGUSDT for silver, offered via Nest Exchange Limited, a Binance affiliate approved by Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority.
