National Research Foundation appoints Kim Soo-young as head of nano, materials division
The National Research Foundation of Korea said on Tuesday it appointed Kim Soo-young (김수영), a professor at Korea University’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering, as head of the Nano and Materials Division under its National Strategic Research Division. The division head is responsible for evaluation management, project planning, policy proposals and advice, budget allocation plans, progress checks and performance use, analysis of research demand and trends, and external cooperation. Kim’s term runs for 2 years from Sept. 28.
