NHN PlayArt returns to Tokyo Game Show after 8 years, unveils three new titles
NHN’s Japanese mobile game subsidiary NHN PlayArt will take part in Tokyo Game Show 2026, returning to the event for the first time since 2018. The company will showcase seven games, including three new titles, during the Sept. 17-21 show at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. It will run game demos, a photo zone and a prize-draw event, and has opened a special TGS 2026 page with details to be released sequentially.

NHN to expand AI GPU investment, secure additional 30 MW data centre capacity by next year
NHN is stepping up growth strategy centred on its artificial intelligence GPU business, planning to expand data centres and the latest GPU infrastructure and win overseas customers. It reported second-quarter revenue of 757.9 billion won and operating profit of 57.9 billion won, both record quarterly highs. NHN Cloud’s AI GPU business drove results, with cloud revenue up 85.3 percent. The company is also focusing game development on Japan and expanding payments into stablecoin settlement infrastructure.

NHN posts record quarterly revenue, operating profit in Q2 on growth in games, payments and technology
NHN said on Monday its second-quarter revenue rose 25.3 percent from a year earlier to 757.9 billion won and operating profit jumped 164.1 percent to 57.9 billion won, both record quarterly highs. Games revenue rose to 139.6 billion won, supported by web board games and higher mobile game sales in Japan. Payments revenue climbed to 394.0 billion won, while technology revenue rose to 159.8 billion won on GPU business expansion.
