NHN’s Japanese mobile game subsidiary NHN PlayArt will return to Tokyo Game Show after 8 years and present 7 games, including 3 new titles.

NHN said on Sept. 2 that NHN PlayArt will participate in Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026, to be held on Sept. 17-21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. It will be NHN PlayArt’s first appearance at TGS since 2018.

NHN PlayArt will set up a booth in Hall 2 at Makuhari Messe and run game demos, a photo zone and a prize-draw event.

The new titles to be unveiled at the event are the puzzle RPG Touken Ranbu Pazu Giri, the casual puzzle game Puchi Poi in Fantasy World and the card battle RPG Over Rush.

It will also showcase Dissidia Duel Room Final Fantasy, which was released in March. It will exhibit other long-running service games including Yo-kai Watch Puni Puni, which has recorded 36 million downloads in Japan, and #Compass: Combat Providence Analysis System, which is in its 10th year and has surpassed 20 million cumulative downloads in the local market.

NHN PlayArt also launched a special TGS 2026 page with information on participating titles as well as the booth, stage events and giveaways. Detailed information will be released sequentially through the page.

Jung Woo-jin (정우진), head of NHN PlayArt, said, "As this is our first time participating in Tokyo Game Show in 8 years, we prepared 7 titles in total, including new games that contain the results of development collaboration in the Korea-Japan games business." He added, "We will communicate with users on site and promote the newly introduced games."
