NHN Cloud launches FactoryX AI full-stack brand, targets 50 percent AI revenue by 2027

NHN Cloud has launched FactoryX, an AI full-stack brand spanning infrastructure, platform and services, and set a goal of raising AI to 50 percent of total revenue by 2027. The company outlined a three-layer offering from GPU infrastructure to agent execution, citing market growth forecasts. It highlighted its FactoryX Seoul data centre, liquid cooling and a GPU management platform, and said it expects to turn profitable on an annual basis by year-end.

Private Technology to lead 2026 zero trust adoption pilot project

Private Technology said on Thursday it has been selected as the lead company for the 2026 zero trust adoption pilot project promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency. It plans to build a long-term security platform for financial firms by integrating data paths, user access, external attack surfaces, security policies and traffic detection into a single hub. The consortium includes AI Spera, WINS Technet and NHN Cloud, with BNK Financial Group and BNK System as demand institutions.

Korea AI Cloud Industry Association launches CSP subcommittee to strengthen domestic CSP cooperation

The Korea AI Cloud Industry Association said on May 20 it has officially launched a Cloud Service Provider subcommittee to strengthen cooperation among domestic CSPs and jointly discuss issues facing the AI and cloud industry. The group also held its first subcommittee meeting on May 18, attended by six companies: KT Cloud, Naver Cloud, Kakao Enterprise, Gabia, NHN Cloud and Samsung SDS. Participants discussed policy and industry issues including AI infrastructure investment, GPU supply and rising data centre energy costs.
