NCSoft\'s Aion 2 heads overseas, tests whether it can deliver outside Lineage
NCSoft\'s Aion 2, which has proven its box-office potential in South Korea, is expanding to global markets. The launch is seen as a test of whether NCSoft can generate results in the global MMORPG market with intellectual property other than Lineage. The company starts early access on Sept. 30 and begins full service on Oct. 5, releasing simultaneously across multiple regions on PC via Steam and its Purple platform.

NCSoft to hold \'Astrae Oratio\' online screening after TGS ends early
NCSoft is moving its on-site programme for \'Astrae Oratio\' online after Tokyo Game Show 2026 ended earlier than planned due to a typhoon. The company will run an online scenario screening on Sept. 21 via the game’s official Japanese YouTube channel. The broadcast will air three times and run about 50 minutes per session, with subtitles in four languages. NCSoft also expanded demo space on the final operating day.

NCSoft expands global service cooperation with Microsoft for \'Aion 2\'
NCSoft is expanding service operations and technical cooperation with Microsoft ahead of the global launch of \'Aion 2\' on Oct. 5. The company said it is strengthening cooperation with Microsoft Korea for the game\'s global service. The companies met on Sept. 14 at NCSoft\'s R&D center in Seongnam to discuss launch preparations and service operations. NCSoft plans to use Microsoft Azure infrastructure to manage large-scale access and traffic changes by region.
