NCSoft to change company name to \'NC\' at March shareholders meeting
NCSoft will change its corporate name to \'NC\' for the first time since its founding in 1997, with the proposal to be decided at a shareholders meeting on March 26. The company disclosed a notice convening the meeting that includes the agenda item. The meeting will be held at its headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. Other items include charter amendments reflecting revisions to commercial law, a cash dividend of 1,150 won per share, and outside director appointments.

NC Cultural Foundation runs MIT science programme at Yeomyeong School
NC Cultural Foundation ran the MIT Science Programme at Yeomyeong School, an alternative school for youths who defected from North Korea, it said on Jan. 26. The programme ran from Jan. 12 to 23 and drew about 30 participants, including MIT students and students from Yeomyeong School and nearby high schools. It marked the 10th year of the programme, launched in 2016 with MIT as a social contribution project.

NC Cultural Foundation opens Projectory youth creative space in Seongnam
NC Cultural Foundation on Jan. 13 opened Projectory, a youth creative activity space in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The Seongnam site is the third in its travelling Projectory initiative after Nonsan and Suwon, aimed at offering self-directed creative activity experiences to youths outside Seoul. Located on the fourth floor of the Seongnam Culture and Arts Education Center, it will operate until June 27. Membership is free for youths aged 10 to 18.
