Netflix not enough for K-content push into North America, FAST seen as breakthrough

Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast) is building a new production organisation that puts artificial intelligence at the centre of content creation. Beast Industries is recruiting a leader to oversee an AI-native production model, aiming to treat AI as the foundation rather than a support tool. The job posting reflects goals to automate processes and produce more content faster as spending control and efficiency become key tasks. The company has about 750 employees and the channel has about 479 million subscribers.

Peacock expands into AI video, mobile sports and games
NBCUniversal streaming platform Peacock is seeking a major shift toward AI and mobile-focused entertainment, TechCrunch reported. Peacock plans to redesign its mobile app as a blend of TikTok-style video, a casual gaming hub and a streaming service. It is introducing an AI-driven \"Bravoverse\" that auto-edits short clips into personalised playlists with an AI avatar narrating in Andy Cohen’s voice. Peacock also plans vertical live NBA streams and new mobile mystery games.
