YouTube Premium subscribers will be able to watch content from NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock in the YouTube app from 2027 at no extra cost.
IT outlet The Verge reported on July 27 that the multi-year deal will include Peacock's ad-supported dramas, films and live sports in YouTube Premium.
YouTube plans to bundle Peacock with its base Premium plan, which it raised to $15.99 a month in April. Peacock's ad-supported plan currently starts at $10.99 a month, making the combined offering less expensive than subscribing to both services separately.
NBCUniversal will broaden its user touchpoints for Peacock under the deal. Peacock struck the partnership as it separates from Comcast's broadband business together with NBCUniversal and Sky.
The subscriber base is not small. YouTube said it had 125 million Premium and Music subscribers in 2025, and Peacock has 48 million U.S. subscribers, according to Comcast's latest earnings report. Peacock posted a profit for the first time last quarter.
Under the deal, NBCUniversal will also provide some live sports games on YouTube. It also extended its distribution agreement with YouTube TV.
