Anthropic expands Mythos access to 150 new organisations in 15 countries, including Samsung, SK Hynix and SK Telecom
Anthropic is expanding Project Glasswing, an initiative that uses its AI models to help organisations find vulnerabilities and prepare response measures, to 150 organisations in more than 15 countries, TechCrunch reported. Anthropic provided access to Claude Mythos Preview to 50 initial partners in early April, including the U.S. government. New participants include companies in power, water, healthcare, telecommunications and hardware.

KT joins NATO Locked Shields cyber drill for second straight year
KT said on May 10 it joined NATO’s Locked Shields international cyber defence exercise for the second consecutive year. The drill, run by NATO’s Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, has been held annually since 2010. This year, 47 South Korean public, private and military organisations took part from April 20 to 24, with KT the only domestic telecom operator participating. KT joined a South Korea-Hungary team and played defence roles including DFIR.

Germany excludes Palantir from military AI solution
Germany is stepping up efforts to reduce reliance on U.S. big tech in key military AI and cloud projects, reflecting a push for “sovereign AI” that prioritises data control and national security. A senior German military official voiced opposition to adopting U.S. data analytics firm Palantir for a next-generation secure cloud project, citing concerns about outside involvement in system operations. Germany has narrowed bidders to three European firms, with tests due this summer and a contract expected before year-end.
